Just sharing a webinar that might be of interest to your communities related to my after-hours work with the DefendResearch.org team and the Declaration to Defend Research from US Govt Censorship. 

The group is kicking off a monthly webinar series to educate scholarly communicators and the general public about the dangers of censorship to academic freedom — something many are tackling at home and abroad.

On Thursday February 12 at 11 am ET, DefendResearch.org and PEN America will  discuss their important new report: America’s Censored Campuses: Expanding the Web of Control. The webinar will provide an overview of both DefendResearch.org and PEN America's work, focusing specifically on this new report and what it can tell us about the state of scientific research and education in the United States.
