Hello, good morning!

First of all, thank you for reminding us that Open Access Week is just around the corner and needs to be planned! At the moment when we're going on holiday here in Portugal, it was an event that was far from my mind.

Secondly, this idea is a good one, to find members of different academic communities who advocate open access!

Thank you and good planning for OA week!

Hello Colleagues,

We're planning our Open Access Week programming (October 20-26) and would love your help identifying potential speakers from outside our own institution. We're specifically looking for researchers who are passionate advocates for Open Access and can speak compellingly about its impact on their work.

What we're seeking:

Ideal topics might include:

If you know researchers at your institution or elsewhere who fit this description, we'd be grateful for suggestions. Please include their name, institution, field, and a brief note about why they'd be compelling speakers.

Thank you for your help,

Ed Eckel
