Hi Melissa,

Thank you for sharing the travails of imparting a library instruction course and I can understand it in the context of students seeking only courses that are offered in their syllabi. My comment on "futile attempt" was not concerning offering peer review knowledge to students but only with respect to *defining it*. And of course, I understand that suggesting to organize workshops, etc. is way much easier said than done in the teaching context that you explained.
